Albert Louis Allen was born nurtured, educated along the clear, cold, fish-laden Missouri Ozark streams where he honed his love for nature, humor, and developed an early eye for photography. Except for a four-year tour with the U.S. Navy, he spent his life among the colorful forests and streams of the Ozarks.
